Course Overview 

Cyanide is used in more industries that can be mentioned here, including: pharmaceuticals, paper, a variety of plastics, gold mining, dyes (the dye in blue jeans, for example), electroplating, heat treating, etc. 
 
Intended audience 
This course is for those businesses who work with cyanide where the risk assessment establishes the need to have suitably trained staff to deliver first aid emergency care. The course is designed for First Aiders to be able to administer emergency first aid safely and effectively, from the complete novice to those who are skilled but require updating. 
 
This course is recommended to be combined with Oxygen Therapy training but can be combined with any of our courses, We can bespoke our training packages to meet your industry needs We also have a detailed course covering Hydrofluoric Acid (HF). 
 
Completion 
All our courses are based on best practice guidelines and on completion all candidates will receive a detailed verifiable certificate pf attendance valid for 1 year. If there are any changes in the recommended guidelines on the emergency first aid treatment of cyanide or HF, we will automatically inform you with the update.
