First Aid Interventions provide First Aid training and mandatory refresher training to hospital, hospice, nursing and care home staff throughout Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire.
By Law, under the Health and Social care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014: Regulation 18,providers must have sufficient numbers of suitably qualified, competent, skilled and experienced staff to meet the needs of the people using the service at all times.
All qualified members of your teams will be required to attend annual mandatory training in accordance with their regulatory body such as:
The General Medical Council and The Nursing and Midwifery Council
Mandatory training includes Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR), Automated External Defibrilation (AED) and Anaphylaxis refreshers along with additional courses such as Basic Airway Management training and Oxygen Therapy.
All of the courses we have on offer can be combined into a bespoke teaching session to meet your specific training needs at the surgery.
Training is based on a maximum of 12 candidates per session as per Resuscitation Council UK guidelines and we are able to deliver training at your place of work or at one of our venues at a time that is suitable to yourselves such as lunchtimes, evenings or weekends. We will endeavour to accommodate your training needs wherever possible.
On completion of any training we issue individual attendance certificates which count towards verifiable CPD.

I am pleased to announce that i am a fully qualified Resuscitation Council (UK) (ILS) Instructor.
I am available to assist with courses at local hospitals on an adhoc basis if additional instructors are required.
